Preventing Harassment: How to Successfully Protect Your Business and Your Employees

Today’s employer is increasingly at risk for the actions of its employees, particularly those employees in supervisory and managerial roles.  Sometimes, employees engage in inappropriate conduct despite adequate training and well-drafted policies. As a result, harassment claims of all types have risen to dramatic new levels, and so, too, have the total settlement amounts paid to victims of workplace harassment.

This one-hour webinar hosted by Member Insurance Agency, partner of the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA), provides the strategy, tactics, and understanding independent retailers need to successfully tackle harassment claims of all types (sex, religion, race, etc.). Take control by learning what constitutes harassment, examining factors that tend to create a hostile work environment, how to foster diversity, and ways to avoid exposure to claims of harassment. Plus, you’ll learn to identify and prevent harassment through real-world claims in your industry, and how to reach and employ a productive and satisfied workforce.
